Intensive In-Community Therapist

Job Description Working Towards a Brighter Future, Inc. offers a diverse array of Mental Health and Behavioral health services to Individuals and families in need of high-quality care and support. These services include but are not limited to Intensive In-community, behavior assistance, parent coaching, ABA services, and referrals to additional resources. Free CEU courses towards licensure. All CEU courses are accredited and conducted by Rutgers University Behavioral Health Department. Flexible scheduling in accordance with your schedule and that of the families assigned to you. Responsibilities Complete initial contact to referred families Conduct therapeutic services within the home or community Complete an assessment with the family to develop appropriate/necessary recommendations for treatment. Provide necessary resources and support system development. Provide therapeutic services for the authorized number of hours weekly. Provide crisis intervention as necessary. Participate in case conferences, school conferences and court appearances with the family as requested. Provide family advocacy as needed. Work with case manager in case management and coordination of services. Participate in ongoing assessment and evaluation of the family’s treatment goals. Complete necessary referrals for additional therapeutic services as deemed appropriate and with the approval of the child and family team. Maintain and submit weekly progress notes and required paperwork. Participate in field supervision with the Clinical Supervisor. Consistent communication and follow ups with agency core support team and leadership. Requirements This role requires a person who is experienced, comfortable and patient with children and families where behavioral health or developmental disabilities with a variety of mental health challenges. Reliable transportation This role requires satisfactory completion of a comprehensive criminal background check, driving record check and professional references. This role requires a moderate level of computer literacy in documenting progress notes and treatment plans. This role, at times, may require the clinician to perform biopsychosocial assessments and report findings to the State. This role requires an individual who holds either an LCSW, LPC or Psy. D. license or degree in the State of NJ. Bonus Points Prior Intensive In-Community (IIC) or Intensive In-Home (IIH) experience is a plus. Experience with children and or adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is a plus. Experience with the Cyber Performcare system. Fluency in languages in addition to English is a plus. Job Type: Contract Pay: $65.00 - $85.00 per hour Ability to Relocate: #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
