Job Title: Senior Next.js Developer
Location: San Ramon, CA
Work Mode: Onsite
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Next.js Developer to design, develop, and maintain modern, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Next.js, React, JavaScript/TypeScript , and modern frontend development practices.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Next.js and React.js .
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript .
- Experience building responsive and scalable web applications using Next.js.
- Strong understanding of Next.js routing, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and API integration .
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 , and responsive UI development.
- Experience with modern frontend state management and component-based architecture.
- Understanding of Git, CI/CD, and Agile development .
- Ability to write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and React .
- Build reusable UI components and frontend architectures.
- Integrate REST APIs and external services.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, SEO, and accessibility.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
- Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Node.js .
- Experience with GraphQL .
- Experience with AWS/cloud services .
- Experience with Shopify or e-commerce platforms .
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications.
