Description of Role SRI Telecom is hiring an OSP Construction Coordinator to coordinate projects and lead cross‑functional teams. The role involves overseeing field activities, ensuring compliance with standards, and managing aspects of construction, including planning for materials, labor, and resource allocation. The specialist works with moderate guidance and is still acquiring higher‑level skills in their discipline. Tasks Oversees and executes various construction duties, ensuring safe operations and compliance with standards. Conducts field site assessments, surveys, and post‑construction reviews. Manages project costs, develops estimates, and monitors job expenses. Maintains accurate records of project details, milestones, and resource usage. Enforces work site safety standards and ensures compliance, conducting regular safety meetings. Manages resources, supports project coordination, and generates construction‑related reports. Addresses customer requests, monitors crew performance, and provides guidance to technicians. Coordinates all phases of construction projects, including interactions with stakeholders and subcontractors. Interacts with government officials, utilities, contractors, and internal partners. Demonstrates flexibility in work schedule and fulfills other assigned duties. Skills & Responsibilities Knowledge of Outside Plant Construction Excel, Outlook skills required. Cross‑functional team coordination skills required. Ability to take ownership of jobs/tasks and drive to completion. Excellent verbal and written skills required. Excellent organizational and time management skills required. Ability to learn new proprietary software, download and compare data skills required.
