** Role Description **
This is a full-time on-site role. Depending on experience, responsibilities may align more closely with a Junior or Mid-Level Associate. In this role, you will handle the assigned matters from inception to resolution and assist senior attorneys as needed. Mentorship will be available to you.
** Qualifications **
- 1–5 years of family law experience in California
- Strong writing and courtroom skills
- Knowledge of family law, local rules and civil procedure
- Experience with discovery, motion hearings and independent case management
- Trial experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented, organized, and friendly
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active license to practice law in California
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned family law cases and deadlines
- Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and settlement conferences
- Maintain effective and professional communication with clients
- Support senior attorneys with assigned projects as needed
