Associate Attorney - Family Law

We are a small, fast-paced downtown San Diego Family Law firm looking for an Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate has 3 or more years of experience in Family Law. The position is a hybrid of in-office and work-from-home, with all the tools for a positive virtual office environment provided. We cooperate and support one another and have a sense of humor while remaining professional. The candidate will be responsible for their own caseload and will have the opportunity to appear in court, take depositions, prepare legal pleadings, motions, and discovery, and interact with both opposing counsel and clients. This position is given an assigned paralegal. Must have experience handling all aspects of a case from start to finish. Qualifications 3+ years of family law experience Barred in California and in good standing Detail-oriented and highly organized, but not rigid Desire to appear in court Multitasking and time management Responsibilities Assume 30-35 family law cases with a team that involves the dissolution of marriage, legal separation, parentage, child custody, spousal support, child support, high net worth clients, and complex litigation, as well as requesting and defending restraining orders. Demonstrated commitment to client advocacy and ethical legal practice. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Exhibit strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Monitor and manage billable hours, ensuring comprehensive client and case management.
