Description We are currently seeking Financial Professionals for our Southern California General Office. Our Financial Services Professionals help clients identify and achieve their financial goals. We offer a comprehensive array of financial products and services to help clients develop a sound, long-term financial strategy. We are looking for self-motivated, self-disciplined job seekers looking for an opportunity to build a great career as a financial professional while helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities • Become educated on New York Life's financial products
• Attend company training sessions
• Network in your community to develop professional relationships
• Leverage existing relationships to build a referral-based practice
• Contact clients and prospects to schedule appointments
• Meet with prospects to discuss their financial needs and/or concerns
• Educate clients on the various products and services offered by New York Life
• Make financial recommendations to clients
• Achieve company performance metrics Qualifications • Highly motivated
• Goal-oriented
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter and disciplined
• Enterprising mindset
• Strong drive to achieve results
• Previous sales and/or advisor experience a plus, not required
• Current FINRA licensing (Series 6 or 7) a plus, not required
• Current book of business (transferable) a plus, not required
• Bachelor's Degree
• Willing to obtain securities licenses
