Our agency opened in 2007 and is built on a strong foundation of hard work, integrity, and service. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I had a background in farming, which shaped my work ethic and commitment to doing things the right way. Family and community are both very important to me and play a big role in how I lead the agency. I'm married with 3 sons and stay actively involved in the community through organizations such as the Washington County Chapter, Delta Waterfowl, the Greenville Rotary Club, and the Greenville Chamber of Commerce. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Jay Janous - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. - Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
