Senior Sales Specialist - Histology Consumables

Leica Biosystems seeks a Senior Sales Specialist to drive revenue growth and market expansion for histology consumables across the New York and New Jersey region. The role involves building executive-level customer relationships, executing territory strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to accelerate adoption and achieve sales objectives.
Responsibilities
- Drive histology consumables revenue growth and market share expansion across assigned territory
- Build executive-level relationships with laboratory leaders, pathologists, and health system stakeholders
- Execute consultative selling and account expansion through business reviews and cross-functional collaboration
- Utilize territory analytics, Salesforce, and market intelligence to forecast results and identify opportunities
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends while mentoring peers on best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years commercial experience, or Master's with 5+ years
- Proven track record exceeding sales targets and managing complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strategic account planning, executive customer engagement, and CRM/analytics proficiency
- Consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship management with clinical and financial stakeholders
- Experience coaching peers or serving as subject matter expert in sales organization
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel 50-75% overnight
