Join our dynamic team in a production manufacturing setting where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production of plastic parts. Your responsibilities will include writing and tracking order information legibly, pulling part tickets, and ensuring the smooth operation of machinery. You will also be stacking and palletizing parts, using rulers and tape measures, and lifting items up to 50 lbs unassisted. Additionally, you will be tasked with quality checking parts hourly and maintaining an organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Legibly write and track order information.
• Pull part tickets as needed.
• Oversee production of plastic parts.
• Monitor machinery and keep parts organized.
• Stack and palletize parts.
• Use rulers and tape measures accurately.
• Lift items up to 50 lbs unassisted.
• Walk up and down stairs to load hoppers.
• Perform quality checks on parts hourly or as needed.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to pass a math/ruler/measuring test with a score of 90% or higher.
• Comfortable lifting 50 pounds multiple times a shift.
• Ability to work alone or in a team and stay on task.
• High school diploma.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous machine operation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, and gauges is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a plastic extrusion facility that has recently been expanded with three new extrusion lines and a larger warehouse/parts staging area. The older plant floor is kept very clean. Steel toe footwear is required. We have multiple shift openings: 1st shift (6:45am-3:15pm), 2nd shift (2:45pm-11:15pm), and 3rd shift (10:45pm-7:15am).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.50/hr.
