Job DescriptionPay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year\nJob description:\nAssociate Attorney – Family Law & Criminal Defense\nLaw Office is seeking a motivated and professional Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team in Miami, Florida.\nWe are looking for an attorney who is interested in developing a long-term litigation career and taking an active role in client representation, case strategy, hearings, and trial preparation.\nPrior experience in Family Law, Criminal Defense, or litigation is strongly preferred. Candidates with courtroom, hearing, deposition, mediation, or trial experience will receive particular consideration. However, we are also open to attorneys with limited experience who demonstrate strong legal skills, professionalism, initiative, and the ability to learn quickly.\nResponsibilities\n\n Manage and assist with active Family Law and Criminal Defense cases\n Prepare for and attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials\n Draft and review motions, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents\n Conduct legal research and assist in developing case strategy\n Communicate directly with clients regarding their cases\n Review and prepare evidence and discovery\n Maintain deadlines and manage assigned caseload\n Participate in court proceedings and trial preparation\n Work closely with the firm's lead attorney on litigation strategy\n\nQualifications\n\n Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with The Florida Bar\n Prior legal experience is preferred\n Family Law, Criminal Defense, or litigation experience is highly preferred\n Courtroom, hearing, mediation, deposition, or trial experience is a plus\n Strong legal research and writing skills\n Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n Strong organizational and case-management abilities\n Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines\n Professional, dependable, and client-focused\n Billingual needes .
