Hospital in Northeastern Ohio is seeking a full-time Medical Director to supervise the Department of Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services. Beautiful and safe location. PA support on site to perform grossing laboratory front office support.

Practice Overview:

• General Surgical Pathology Practice
\n
• Reasonable Case Load
\n
• Participation in Tumor Board and On-Call coverage
\n
• No autopsies
\n
• 20 Cases per day approximately
\n

Requirements:

\n
• MD/DO with Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
\n
• Ohio Medical License
\n
• Experience in hematopathology a plus
\n
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Laboratory Director
\n
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
\n
• Critical and strategic thinking
\n
• Experience in medical staff functions, working knowledge of hospital operations, quality improvement and strategic planning
\n
• The ability and desire to interact with medical center physicians, hospital administration and laboratory staff
\n
