Job Description Serves as a computer technology expert for assigned functional applications to assist business lines with development and ongoing support. Provides project release direction and support including research, analysis, review, development, implementation and monitoring of new or revised systems. Acts as a liaison for project release and typically perform analysis supporting the strategies and objectives of the business line. Compiles and analyzes information that is very detailed and often interpretive making project release recommendations based on the findings. Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful completion, installation and implementation in accordance with client needs. Role Summary Team/Business Line: Transaction Processing Shared Services (TPSS), Process Transformation Automation group. Role Purpose: Capture and document business requirements, act as liaison between business and development teams, and support project execution and solution architecture. Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for projects. Work closely with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and resolve questions. Serve as the main point of contact between business lines and development teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding. Proactively identify potential issues and work to prevent them during the project lifecycle. Take initiative to resolve blockers by collaborating with relevant teams, rather than waiting for others to intervene. Support project execution and documentation development. Core Competencies Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and functional concepts in layman’s terms to non-technical stakeholders. Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and its stages. Proactive problem-solving and issue prevention mindset. Self-motivation and ability to drive resolution of project blockers independently. Experience working with cross-functional teams. Domain knowledge is a plus but not required. Additional Information The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
