Senior EstimatorRequired Skills & Experience: 10+ years of estimating experience. Experience estimating underground utility infrastructure projects. Experience supporting utility clients such as FPL, Duke, NextEra, or similar utility organizations. Strong knowledge of: transmission systems, distribution systems, duct banks, utility relocations, underground concrete installations, HeavyBid software experience or similar. Experience identifying and pursuing new project opportunities.Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Understanding of civil construction activities including asphalt and sidewalk restoration. Existing relationships within the utility infrastructure market.Job Description: Our client is seeking a Senior Estimator with deep experience in underground utility infrastructure projects. This individual will manage the estimating process from initial opportunity identification through final bid submission while supporting utility, transmission, distribution, duct bank, and civil infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include reviewing plans and specifications for underground utility projects, performing quantity takeoffs and developing detailed project estimates, soliciting and analyzing vendor and subcontractor pricing, preparing competitive bid packages and proposals, identifying and pursuing new bidding opportunities, working with customers, vendors, and internal project teams throughout the bid process, and developing estimates for utility relocation, duct bank, transmission, distribution, and related infrastructure projects.
