Supervisory Contract Specialist

DutiesProcure cyber operations-peculiar services and commodities for complex and diversified programs requiring strategic sourcing initiatives.Explore new or innovative contracting approaches, including use of pricing arrangements or incentives, to arrive at an equitable contract arrangement.Lead and supervise the evaluation and execution of acquisition schedules to not delay award of any assigned contracts, often developing and utilizing rapid acquisition processes.Conduct negotiations independently or serves as lead negotiator on price, technical requirements, and/or terms and conditions of the contract.Award or recommend award in accordance with delegated authority in cases where such decisions are accepted as authoritative and serve as the basis for committing the agency or activity.Evaluate contractor performance for compliance with terms and conditions of contract, and ensures timely submission of technical progress reports and performance metrics.Provide acquisition planning and management expertise to support special projects, initiatives, and studies.
