Position Summary - Janitorial Services is dedicated to maintaining a safe, healthy, and inviting learning, living and working environment for our college community. The Administration & Finance division provides essential services to our campus, local, state, federal and international customers. We are responsible for human, physical, financial and technical resources. As professionals, we navigate systems in a collaborative and sensitive way to assist the College in achieving its educational mission. The work schedule for this position is expected to be Monday – Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and the work location will be discussed during the interview process and determined at time of offer. This temporary position is expected to begin late July and end in late December.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities: This position will function as a working team leader of a cleaning crew by assigning the work, giving instructions, providing assistance and observing the work in progress on a daily basis. Performing a variety of janitorial tasks such as maintenance and repair work, cleaning and care tasks that require medium to heavy physical labor, and shoveling snow and mowing lawns as necessary to upkeep sidewalks, yards, and driveways is also included. This position is supervised by a Supervising Janitor. Using appropriate PPE and selecting and safely using the appropriate tools and equipment needed to complete the assigned tasks as well as attending job related training will be required. Preferred Qualifications: Prior professional cleaning experience

Salary (Applicant View) - $18.31 Hourly or $38,235 Annually in accordance with CSEA Salary Schedule, plus excellent benefits.
