Location 650 Trade Centre Way, Suite 140, Portage, MI 49002 Responsibilities Operational Excellence: Create a positive work environment; support in-office clinician and staff engagement activities to promote the LifeStance culture, engagement, and connection. Provide strong customer service, respond quickly and appropriately to patient needs, and manage potentially difficult or emotional situations. Communicate with peers, clinicians, and patients in ways that support patient care and clinician satisfaction. Patient Support: Assist psychiatric clinicians with patient care tasks including prior authorizations, lab orders, letters for patients, records requests, coordination of forms (e.g., FMLA). Facilitate communication between patient, medical staff, and pharmacy. Manage phone systems and provide patient support for medication questions, refill requests, release requests, appointment reschedules, and inquiries. Ensure accuracy of patient pharmacy information in the medical record. Scan hard copy correspondence into the patient’s EHR. Assist patients with telehealth access, Patient Portal issues, and other troubleshooting. Triage urgent requests and escalate as needed. Assist in coordination of external referrals for patient care. Clinician Support: Provide general clinician support, such as sending letters and faxes; coordinate with clinicians on additional patient questions. Aid psychiatr ic clinicians in termination processes for patients when needed (e.g., termination letters, external referrals, AMD status). Qualifications Ability to multitask and prioritize duties to support delivery of high-quality patient experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in using computer software applications (Microsoft Office & EMRs) Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA) Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; associates/bachelor’s degree preferred. 1+ yearsof experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or similar role preferred Professionalism and Responsibilities Ethics and behavior aligned with company standards Relationship building and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders Growth mindset: identify process improvements and implement solutions Flexibility and adaptability to company needs Organizational skills and attention to detail Conflict resolution and constructive communication Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, talk, hear, and walk.
