Senior Technical Recruiter (Contract)

Overview Contract Senior Technical Recruiter – 6‑month contract with potential extension. The role focuses on sourcing and hiring senior‑level technical talent, including software engineering, infrastructure, and cybersecurity, and partnering closely with Engineering leaders and the People & Talent teams. Responsibilities Full‑Cycle Recruitment – Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for technical roles, primarily senior and staff+ positions across Engineering. Talent Sourcing – Build targeted sourcing strategies and market maps to identify and engage high‑caliber, often passive technical talent; strong command of LinkedIn Recruiter, AI talent platforms, and Boolean search. Stakeholder Management & Team Collaboration – Partner with Engineering leadership and hiring managers to understand role requirements and embed talent into the organization; collaborate with People and Talent teams. Process Optimization – Design and own structured, competency‑based interview practices and refine processes to improve candidate experience and recruiting impact. Data‑Driven Insights – Analyze recruiting metrics, including pipeline and sourcing conversion rates, to identify bottlenecks and develop strategic solutions, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Qualifications 6+ years of full‑cycle technical recruiting at a high‑growth technology company or startup. At least 3 years of experience hiring senior and staff‑level software engineers. Track record of building pipelines for highly specialized and hard‑to‑fill engineering roles; experience hiring for infrastructure or cybersecurity roles is a plus. Strong stakeholder management ability, influencing across all levels and data‑driven decision making. Expert‑level sourcing capabilities using creative, multi‑platform strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment. Hands‑on experience with Lever, Greenhouse, or similar ATS. Location Remote across the United States. In‑person collaboration is encouraged, with Ro’ers in the tri‑state (NY) area attending HQ on Tuesdays and Thursdays; others may join in‑person events throughout the year.
