Aerospace Marketing Analysis Manager II

Provide the Sales and Marketing Department with analysis of OEM and Services sales compared to markets and peers Analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities Assess market news and its impact on Woodward Aerospace Develop familiarity and expertise across aerospace and defense markets, including commercial aircraft, business jets and turboprops, helicopters, fighter jets, bombers and specialty aircraft Collect and analyze data to support monthly and long-term forecasts for OEM production and services demand Develop the annual Market Demand and Assumptions document for the segment president and C suite in support of the strategic plan Deliver quarterly market analysis of aerospace segment sales versus the market to Investor Relations and the CFO for the quarterly results call Develop a broad network of aerospace industry contacts to remain current with events and trends and assess impacts on Woodward Create and maintain statistical models to evaluate marketing and industry performance, forecast trends, and drive the 10-year forecast Capture and curate relevant industry news for stakeholders Identify market opportunities through research, competitive analysis, and win/loss analysis Provide input to strategic planning related to new markets and products Mentor junior analysts in marketing analysis methodologies and best practices Requirements 7 years' experience in Aerospace and Defense preferred Engineering and marketing background preferred Must be a U.S. Person within the meaning of ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or U.S. Department of Commerce U.S. Person includes a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), or protected person (asylee or refugee) Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in aerospace and defense market analysis, including the ability to assess market trends, develop forecasts, and provide strategic insights to support decision-making. Proficient in mentoring junior analysts and maintaining industry relationships to drive growth opportunities.
