About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Market Strategy and Partnerships to play a pivotal role in advancing the organization's mission. The successful candidate will be a senior leader responsible for setting and implementing integrated strategies across the Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky region. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of the regional landscape, including its communities, institutions, policy environment, and key stakeholders. The VP will be tasked with maintaining strong external relationships, connecting regional priorities to the company's capabilities, and leading the development of strategic partnerships. A commitment to the values of the company, particularly in the areas of economic and racial justice, is essential. Key responsibilities for the Vice President include regional strategy and market leadership, enterprise integration, external leadership, and organizational team leadership. The role requires a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 7 years' experience in community or economic development, lending, philanthropy, nonprofit leadership, or a related area. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of senior leadership, the ability to lead through organizational change, and a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. The VP will be expected to demonstrate sound judgment, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to building sustainable practices. Success in this position will be measured by the quality of the regional team, the cultivation of external relationships, and the generation of mission-aligned opportunities.
