Sr. HR Generalist

A leading Oil & Gas company located in the Galleria area of Houston, TX is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team. This is an excellent direct hire opportunity with competitive compensation, excellent benefits, room for growth, and a great work environment. Starting compensation $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of HR experience required, with at least 2 years of dedicated experience in payroll processing and HRIS administration/implementation. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. SHRM-CP or PHR credential preferred. Responsibilities: Own end-to-end multi-state payroll administration, ensuring accurate, timely processing, compliance, reporting, and partnership with Finance for payroll reconciliation and approvals. Lead HRIS implementation, configuration, optimization, and ongoing system administration, including data integrity, security, reporting, user training, and support. Manage and support employee benefits programs, including open enrollment, benefit administration, 401(k) processes, vendor coordination, and invoice reconciliation. Facilitate onboarding, performance management, compensation review processes, and the transition of manual HR processes into automated HRIS workflows. Support employee relations, HR operations, training compliance, record management, and maintenance of a positive employee experience and culture. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws while supporting audits, regulatory reporting, risk assessments, and HR data digitization initiatives.
