JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Reports to: Human Resources Operations Specialist

Employment Status: Part-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Responsible for coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities for clinical and non-clinical employees within Golden Care of Northeast Pennsylvania. Serves as the primary point of contact for applicants throughout the hiring process and ensures a positive onboarding experience while maintaining compliance with applicable federal, state, CHAP, and organizational requirements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Works with the management team to identify recruitment needs and develops a recruitment plan designed to fill demand and evaluates the cost-effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
  2. Recruits qualified Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and administrative personnel.
  3. Posts and maintains employment advertisements on recruiting platforms, social media, and community job boards.
  4. Reviews applications, conducts initial applicant screenings, and schedules interviews. Coordinates interviews with hiring managers and department leadership.
  5. Prepares and distributes new hire paperwork through the electronic HR system.
  6. Maintains ongoing communication with applicants throughout the hiring and onboarding process to ensure a positive candidate experience and timely completion of pre-employment requirements.
  7. Coordinates the onboarding process from offer acceptance through orientation.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Associate's degree in accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. At least one (1) to three (3) years' experience in health care operations, preferably in home care management.
  3. Experience recruiting healthcare professionals preferred.
  4. Ability to prioritize multiple open positions simultaneously.
  5. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and public relations skills.
  6. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
