Associate Scientist II, Molecular & Cellular Biology

Associate Scientist II supporting large molecule and biologics development at a contract manufacturing organization. The role involves executing laboratory testing under cGMP using molecular and cellular biology techniques, with a focus on product characterization, release, and stability studies.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory testing for large molecules and biologics using mammalian cell culture and sterile techniques
• Perform ELISA assays, qPCR, PCR, and kinetic binding assessments such as BLI and SPR
• Conduct cell-based assays including reporter gene bioassay and cell viability measurements
• Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation and follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Operate laboratory equipment safely and support method development and reporting activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Physical Science
• Applied knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask independently
• Attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• GMP experience preferred
