Associate Scientist II

Associate Scientist II position supporting Large Molecules/Biologics product development, release, and stability studies at a contract manufacturing organization. The role involves executing laboratory testing using molecular and cellular biology techniques under cGMP regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory testing for biologics using mammalian cell culture, sterile technique, and in vitro cell-based assays
• Perform ELISA assays including quantitative and potency formats (fluorescence, luminescence, colorimetric, MSD)
• Conduct molecular biology techniques such as qPCR and PCR
• Perform kinetic binding assessments using biolayer interferometry or surface plasmon resonance
• Maintain cGMP-compliant documentation and support method development and result reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or Physical Science
• Applied knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask independently
• Attention to detail and critical thinking ability
• Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule instructions
• GMP experience preferred
