Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) - $2,185 per week

Job Description & Requirements American Traveler is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13‑week night shift contract at a Chest Pain and Stroke Center hospital in Charlotte, NC, requiring flexibility to float across a multi‑facility region. Assignment Overview Shift: 12‑hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 times per week Hours: 36 hours per week Start Date: 01 Jun 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Location: Charlotte, NC (must reside >50 miles away; local candidates not accepted) Every other weekend rotation required 75% holidays required Terminology: Travel; 36 hours per week; 12‑hour nights; 13 weeks; 150 days/year Campus & Patient Details Work in a 337‑bed acute care hospital featuring a Chest Pain Center, Stroke Center, and Level III NICU. Respiratory Care department serves >300 patients per day. Patient population includes adult care and NICU—no pediatric care outside the NICU. Floating required across Region 2 facilities, including Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, freestanding EDs, and Central Division (CMC Main, CMC Mercy, and Levine Children’s Hospital). Equipment: Servo ventilators (I, U, and Airs), Trilogy, ResMed AirCurve, HiFlow, Airvo, NOXbox, and bubble CPAP. EMR: Epic. Requirements Current RRT or CRT national certification. Active NC Respiratory Therapy license (if applicable). Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP. Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Therapy experience. Minimum 12 months of core work experience in the unit specialty area, most recent within the last year. Experience across critical care, CVICU, NICU, ED, progressive care, and all floor therapies. Professional reference dated within the past year from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN. Last four digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration.
