• Location: Lafayette, LA
• Start Date: ASAP / Negotiable
• End Date / Duration: Permanent position / ongoing
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (No inpatient rounding, but work until chemo/biotherapy is completed)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
• Licenses/Certs: Louisiana Medical License (or ability to obtain), Board Certified/Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
• Experience: 3-5+ years Hematology/Oncology experience required

Pay & Benefits:

• Salary: $105,000 $115,000 annually (perm rate reflected in bill rate)
• Pay package discussed upon application

What You ll Do:

• Manage a full panel of hematology and Oncology patients in a busy outpatient clinic setting
• Coordinate care with nurse practitioners and support staff for optimal patient outcomes
• Conduct treatment visits, follow-ups, and new patient assessments with a focus on complex cases with co-morbidities
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume practice
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Participate in care coordination and patient education efforts

What You Need:

• Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana or able to obtain licensure
• Board Certified or Eligible in Hematology & Oncology
• 3-5 years of clinical Hematology/Oncology experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle complex cases and coordinate multi-disciplinary care

About the Assignment:
This is a full-time, permanent position at a reputable outpatient oncology practice in Lafayette, Louisiana. The clinic manages complex patients with co-morbidities, offering treatments and follow-ups without inpatient rounding. The team is fully staffed with physicians and nurse practitioners who follow a full panel of patients, providing a collaborative environment for professional growth and high-quality patient care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with work ending after the last chemo or biotherapy treatment each day.
