Job Description:

STRATEGY / Supports the planning and execution of influencer marketing campaigns for our clients with a focus on talent discovery social media trends and social listening.

***Our headquarters is located in Stamford CT but the location of this position can be flexible with a preference for working in one of our office locations -- Stamford CT Chicago IL New York NY Charlotte NC or Atlanta GA. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Octagon the worlds premier global sports marketing agency is seeking a Strategist Influencer Marketing to join its digital strategy this role youll support our influencer team by executing influencer & creator partnership strategies social content programs talent discovery campaign management and measurement for our brand clients. You will connect brands and creators developing creator-led campaigns and talent recommendations that align with sports partnerships and properties.

THE WORK YOULL DO

• Assist with influencer campaign execution including identifying social trends evaluating platform opportunities and supporting talent discovery .

• Own day-to-day campaign intelligence including KPI tracking audience & demographic analysis real-time performance reporting and social listening.

• Lead talent discovery and support talent engagement including outreach contracting coordination and campaign reporting.

• Help develop influencer creative briefs and strategies building campaigns that are authentic and on-trend with the platforms and communities in which they live.

• Compile and build campaign wrap reports inclusive of quantitative and quali ta tive measurement .

• Simultaneously work on multiple projects relying on strong project management and organizational skills from initial strategy through final wrap-up.

• Develop social and digital ideas actively participating in strategic digital brainstorms.

WHO WERE LOOKING FOR

• 1-3 years of proven experience in influencer marketing.

• Passion for and expertise i n sports entertainment music and/or celebrity & pop culture as well as a pulse of whats trending in social & digital content whats resonating with fans what platforms are growing what content matters to fans.

• Experience working with talent including content creators creator partnerships athletes and celebrities.

• S elf-starter mentality with the r esourcefulness and initiative to support the day-to-day logistics of planning implementing & reporting on social and influencer programs.

• Strong understanding of social media mechanics and best practices across Instagram TikTok Facebook YouTube and X.

• Curiosity about how data and analytics tools are used across social media with a belie f that data is a primary driver of successful marketing campaigns.

• Experience with digital analytics and social tools examples include CreatorIQ Infegy and Brandwatch .

• O rganized and active contributor with strong attention to detail and follow-through.

• Strong project management skills including the ability to build & monitor trackers organize client deliverables and coordinate talent-related administrative requirements.

• Proficien cy in Microsoft Office specifically PowerPoint Excel and Word.

• Baseball and golf knowledge preferred.

• Flexibility and willingness to travel. Anticipated travel level: Low (0-15%)

The base range for this position is $. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on among other factors actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employees/applicants background pertinent experience and qualifications.

Omnicoms policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time and many of our agencies as well as Omnicoms corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
