Operations Coordinator

Operations CoordinatorResponsible for customer service support of financial advisors through processing of new account applications, account changes, and service requests, per representatives/client instructions. This role responds to inquiries in respect to all products offered by Brokers Financial. Also, the Operations Coordinator communicates with and assists, financial advisors with various requests, and support firm's regulatory obligations.Essential Job FunctionsProcess new account applications and client requests daily and within designated timeframes.Communicate with Financial Advisors and/or clients through phone and/or email to resolve incomplete or "bad order" applications and/or requests and to find solutions to problems. Consult with appropriate leaders/management as needed to deal with difficult situations or exception.Accurately enter client's personal and suitability information into the Firm's Books and Records system and facilitate required regulatory mailing obligationsProvide customer service to Financial Advisors and the clients through various means including written correspondence, email, phone, internet, and fax.Other duties assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust display Core ValuedMust be able to learn use of internal and third-party systems.Exceptional customer experience skills.Ability to work independently and in a team environmentHandle customer interactions with confidence and tactExperience and EducationExperience: Financial industry experience preferred.Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1 year working directly with a broker-dealer, RIA, or insurance.Licensing: FINRA Series 6 or 7 preferred, but not required.
