This position is responsible for programming, integrating, commissioning, and troubleshooting Niagara-based building automation systems across a seven-state region. The role involves solving complex controls challenges, optimizing HVAC system performance, and working independently on high-impact federal facilities projects. Travel Requirements Approximately 25% overnight travel within California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. Company-paid travel. Primary Responsibilities Program, configure, commission, and troubleshoot Niagara N4 building automation systems. Upgrade existing JACE controllers to current EBCS standards. Integrate field devices and JACEs into the Army Reserve Enterprise Building Control System (EBCS). Configure graphics, databases, network communications, and control sequences. Diagnose and resolve HVAC controls issues, including sensors, programming, communications, and network faults. Support Retro-Commissioning (Retro-Cx) projects through controls QA/QC. Perform startup, commissioning, and functional performance testing. Monitor enterprise BAS systems and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and Army Reserve personnel. Provide owner training and technical support. Project Support Attend EBCS stakeholder meetings. Support contractor integrations. Review controls work for quality. Assist with project management. Maintain project documentation. Required Skills and Qualifications 2+ years programming Niagara N4 Building Automation Systems. Experience with JACE controllers. Knowledge of Niagara Workbench. Familiarity with BACnet, Modbus, and LON protocols. HVAC controls troubleshooting experience. DDC programming experience. Ability to travel approximately 25%. Preferred Qualifications Tridium Niagara Certification. Army Reserve EBCS experience. Analytics experience. Retro-Cx experience. HVAC service background. Physical Requirements Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs. Willing to work at heights. Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds at times. Compensation & Benefits Salary: $80,000–$100,000.
