Grasshopper Group Health Services is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our outpatient behavioral health clinic. As the first point of contact for many clients and families, you'll help create a positive experience while ensuring the clinic operates efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming phone calls
• Welcome clients, families, and visitors
• Schedule appointments and maintain provider calendars through our electronic health record system
• Enter and maintain accurate client and organizational data
• Verify and update insurance information before appointments
• Process intake documentation and correspondence
• Maintain confidential client records in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Assist staff with administrative and clerical tasks
• Monitor incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Support facility compliance activities, including safety logs and documentation
• Maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment
• Participate in company outreach events and activities as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of two years of administrative, clerical, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong computer, data entry, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
