Reporting to the Market Development Manager EU, the Sales Development Representative (DACH) plays a key role in driving TraceGains' European growth by creating meaningful first connections with future customers. This role is about more than pipelineit's about understanding customer challenges, shaping market conversations, and helping build long-term relationships in a rapidly evolving industry.
You'll join a highly collaborative, international team where marketing, product, and sales work closely togetherand where your ideas and insights directly influence go-to-market strategy.
This is a remote role within EMEA, with a preference for candidates based in Germany, Austria, the UK, or Ireland.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Identifying new business opportunities through structured market research using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Demandbase
- Executing thoughtful, account-based outbound strategies tailored to each prospect
- Booking and qualifying meetings that turn into real pipeline and long-term customer value
- Partnering closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and Product to refine messaging and campaigns
- Representing TraceGains at events and webinars as a brand ambassador in the DACH market
- Continuously building industry and product expertise to engage confidently with stakeholders across Quality, R&D, Procurement, Regulatory, and Supply Chain
- Experience with Account Based Marketing campaigns
The essential requirements of the job include:
- 2+ years of experience in MDR/SDR, B2B sales, or marketing (ideally SaaS or CPG/food industry)
- Native or business-fluent German and strong English communication skills
- Proven success in outbound prospecting and new customer acquisition
- Experience with CRM and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, Outreach)
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the DACH region and internationally (approx. 13 days per month)
