MAINTENANCE MECHANIC

Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Comply with OSHA safety and health rules Ethical Conduct Problem Solving/Analysis Technical Capacity Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Program Responsibilities The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the execution of the following programs: Preventive Maintenance Routine Temporary Repair Procedures Maintenance Best Practices The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level of the work environment and the job site can be loud. Physical Demands Walks, sits, stands, bends, twists, lifts, and moves continuously during working hours; is subject to lifting over 30 pounds; is subject to repetitive motions. Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position; the hours will vary based on your scheduled shift; minimum 40-hours per week. This position is on-site in Greensboro, NC. Your shift will either be:

1. st shift- 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
2. nd shift- 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
