Work Environment

This full-time position is primarily onsite, within the home health care setting. Our operations in Memphis, Tennessee, allow for a dynamic interaction with patients in their own environments, tailoring treatment plans to suit their living conditions. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured yet rewarding work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify physical limitations and establish goals for rehabilitation.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic modalities and manual techniques.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated attention and care to each individual.
• Monitor patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to respond to changes in patient status.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, preventative measures, and ways to maintain wellness after therapy concludes.
• Document treatment outcomes and maintain detailed records in compliance with health regulations and insurance requirements.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle among clients, focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, and mobility.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay abreast of current best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic largely includes individuals with private medical insurance who present with orthopedic conditions requiring skilled rehabilitation services. Through personalized care plans, your efforts will help empower patients to achieve their movement goals, whether recovering from surgery, an injury, or chronic conditions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee without any board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Proficiency in performing manual therapy techniques and developing effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Strong familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care is required. Candidates who have worked in home health settings, offering customized therapy solutions, will be given special consideration.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement options, and professional development opportunities.
