Overview Security Officer Location: St. Francis Hospital - A Member of Catholic Health Join one of the nation's top-ranked hospitals for Cardiology and GI Surgery. At St. Francis, we care for the whole person-body, mind, and spirit-and we're transforming how healthcare is delivered. Job Details Job Responsibilities:
- Responding promptly to emergencies and security incidents
- Controlling facility access and ensuring only authorized personnel enter
- Conducting regular patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
- Assisting with fire safety inspections and staff education
- Providing courteous support and assistance to patients, staff, and visitors
- Preparing clear and timely incident reports
- High School diploma or equivalent
- NYS Security Guard License (required)
- Valid NYS Driver's License (required)
- BLS & AED Certification required, or must be obtained within 6 months of start
- One year of security experience preferred (hospital setting a plus)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
