A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to partner with school communities and make a lasting difference in students’ lives. This contract role offers the chance to work full-time, supporting approximately 50 students within a district-wide setting across an entire academic year. Collaborate with educators and receive valuable assistance from an experienced COTA while helping students achieve their fullest potential.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California required
- Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Commitment to providing compassionate, student-centric care
Role Overview:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse K-12 caseload
- Collaborate with special education staff and teachers to support student success
- Adapt strategies and interventions tailored to students’ unique needs and goals
- Supervise and partner with a dedicated COTA for enhanced student support
- Document and review progress, maintaining compliance with school and state guidelines
- Engage with families and school teams to promote holistic student development
