Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: 20 hours per week (4 hours per day) with rotating shifts weekly

About the Role

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at the Brownsville Senior Activity Center. This member-facing role serves as the first point of contact for seniors, visitors, and callers, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience for all who interact with the center.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving the senior community, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members, visitors, and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
• Answer incoming phone calls and provide exceptional customer service
• Register new members and maintain accurate membership records
• Track and document daily member attendance
• Assist with the preparation and submission of monthly reports
• Conduct wellness calls to members to support their safety and well-being
• Provide administrative and front desk support as needed
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth daily center operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in customer service, reception, healthcare, community services, or administrative support preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and professional approach when interacting with seniors and community members

Work Environment

The Brownsville Senior Activity Center serves approximately 180 members daily and provides approximately 90 meals each day . This position plays a critical role in maintaining member satisfaction, supporting enrollment efforts, and ensuring timely communication with center participants.
