We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist for a direct hire opportunity in Beaumont, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong CNC lathe programming experience, including the ability to manually create, edit, and troubleshoot CNC programs .
This position supports a manufacturing environment specializing in plastic injection molding and PVC components . The successful candidate will be responsible for CNC lathe programming, machine setup, process improvements, and producing high-quality precision components.
Responsibilities:
- Manually create, edit, and modify CNC lathe programs using G-code
- Set up and operate CNC lathes for production and prototype work
- Troubleshoot programs and make adjustments to improve quality and efficiency
- Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine setups
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment
- Maintain quality standards and production requirements
- Support process improvements and manufacturing projects
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of CNC lathe machining and programming experience preferred
- Strong ability to manually write and edit CNC lathe programs required
- Proficient with G-code programming
- Experience with CNC setup, tooling, and offsets
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience machining plastics, PVC, or injection molding components is a plus
Preferred Experience:
- CNC Mill experience
- CNC Mill 4-Axis setup and operation experience is a plus
- CNC turning experience
- Plastic injection molding manufacturing experience
- Experience optimizing CNC programs and machining processes
