Job Description

J.P. Morgan Natural Capital is seeking an Associate-level Investment Specialist / Investor Relations professional to support fundraising, business development, and client service across the Natural Capital platform. As the Global Business Development team’s dedicated Investor Relations professional, you will help execute investor engagement, prepare fundraising materials, and support the platform’s rebrand and upcoming fund launch. 

About the Natural Capital Team  

J.P. Morgan Natural Capital is a leading investment manager within J.P. Morgan Asset Management’s global Alternatives platform, with more than four decades of experience managing sustainable forests and related natural assets. As of December 31, 2025, the platform oversaw approximately USD 10.9 billion in assets under supervision and 1.5 million acres (approximately 600,000 hectares) globally. 

You will work alongside a team of approximately 145 colleagues across the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Our multidisciplinary team combines investment expertise with on-the-ground asset management, offering exposure across the natural capital investment lifecycle and the opportunity to support investment, environmental, and community outcomes. 

 

Job Summary  

As an Associate supporting J.P. Morgan Natural Capital, you will help drive high-quality investor engagement and responsiveness through the creation and maintenance of marketing and due diligence content, coordination of RFP/DDQ processes, management of investor queries, and support for client meetings and fundraising pitches. You will work closely with the Investment Specialist team, portfolio management, JPMorgan Asset Management & Wealth Management distribution channels, and partner teams globally. You will also collaborate with Product Strategy, Marketing/Communications, Market Insights, Sustainable Investment, and subject matter experts to develop and refresh intellectual capital and client materials, including fact sheets, data room content, and messaging aligned to the rebrand and product roadmap. 

 

Job Responsibilities  

• Support fundraising and investor engagement efforts for J.P. Morgan Natural Capital, including preparing for fundraising pitches, client meetings, and periods of team travel. 
• Support product launch readiness by coordinating investor-facing workstreams, tracking key milestones and dependencies, and ensuring materials, data room content, and internal teams are prepared for market engagement. 
• Coordinate end-to-end preparation for investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and diligence sessions, including agendas, briefing materials, logistics, attendee coordination, and post-meeting follow-up. 
• Manage and execute investor relations deliverables, including:  

o Development and maintenance of data rooms 

o Completion and coordination of RFPs, DDQs, and other due diligence requests 

o Tracking and timely response to investor inquiries and follow-ups 

• Maintain accurate investor pipeline and engagement records, including meeting notes, next steps, relationship activity, and fundraising progress, in partnership with the Investment Specialist and distribution teams. 
• Create, update, and maintain marketing materials and intellectual capital, including pitchbooks, fact sheets, commentaries, Q&A documents, and other client-ready materials aligned with evolving positioning and the firm’s rebrand. 
• Coordinate across internal stakeholders (Product Strategy & Development, portfolio management, distribution, Market Insights, Sustainable Investment, Client Skills & Training, and other partner groups) to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of messaging and materials. 
• Develop a strong working understanding of J.P. Morgan Natural Capital’s timberland strategies, performance drivers, and sustainability/climate solutions narrative, and help articulate these to internal partners and (over time) external clients. 
• Support internal education and thought leadership by helping prepare training materials and briefing content for distribution teams and internal stakeholders. 
• Monitor and synthesize market and competitor trends relevant to timberland alternatives, fundraising conditions, and sustainability positioning; contribute ideas to improve materials and processes. 
• Project manage recurring and ad hoc deliverables, maintaining organized workflows, calendars, version control, and stakeholder alignment across multiple time zones. 
• Assist with communications support, including coordination with communications partners on items such as press releases, executive features, and annual investor meeting preparation. 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills  

• 2+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, product or investment specialist support, institutional sales support, consultant relations, client service, investment marketing, capital formation, alternatives fundraising, or another client- or investor-facing role within asset management, investment banking or financial services. 
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent writing and editing skills with an ability to turn complex investment concepts into clear, client-ready messaging. 
• Strong attention to detail and high-quality bar for data accuracy, formatting, and consistency in external-facing materials. 
• Demonstrated critical thinking and creativity 
• Interest in and working knowledge of investments; ability to learn and communicate the investment and sustainability story of natural capital alternatives. 
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills across internal teams, including comfort working with senior stakeholders. 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills  

• Exposure to alternatives (e.g., real assets, private markets) and/or familiarity with fundraising and due diligence workflows (RFPs/DDQs/data rooms). 
• Experience creating or updating marketing materials for investment products (pitch decks, fact sheets, quarterly materials, Q&A). 
• Comfort supporting live client processes (meeting preparation, follow-ups, action tracking) and partnering effectively with distribution teams. 
• FINRA Series 7 license, or a commitment to obtain it within the first 120 days of employment.
