Pharmacy Technician - Fulfillment

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician in Fort Worth, Texas! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration:

Type: Four-month contract with opportunity for extension

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm

Pay: $20.00 to $21.00 an hour

Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Technician:

· Receive incoming prescription orders from hospice providers using the company database.?

· Enter prescription information accurately into the pharmacy system for pharmacist verification.?

· Fill prescriptions by selecting the correct medication, counting or measuring quantities, labeling, and preparing them for final pharmacist review and pickup.?

· Follow established protocols and safety regulations for dispensing medications to ensure compliance with Texas Board of Pharmacy guidelines.?

· Maintain precise records of prescriptions, patient information, and order fulfillment.?

· Communicate effectively with pharmacists and hospice providers regarding prescription clarifications and order details.?

· Uphold patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company privacy policies.?

· Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the pharmacy.?

· Complies with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Pharmacy Technician:

· HS Diploma or GED

· Active and good standing pharmacy technician license in Texas

· 2+ years of pharmacy experience preferred

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.?

· Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
