Financial Services Firm Receptionist
As the first point of contact for our financial services firm, you are more than just a receptionist; you are the face and voice of our brand. Responsibilities
- Client relations: Serve as the primary "director of first impressions," greeting customers with an upbeat, professional demeanor and managing a high-volume multi-line phone system.
- Data & record management: Update and maintain complex Excel spreadsheets with high accuracy; perform heavy data entry to ensure client records are current.
- Research & support: Conduct background research to assist financial advisors in preparing for client meetings and market analysis.
- Digital marketing support: Assist with basic marketing tasks, which may include updating social media profiles, preparing mailers, or coordinating client appreciation events.
- Administrative flow: Manage incoming/outgoing mail, maintain the lobby aesthetic, and ensure the office remains organized and efficient.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical proficiency: Strong typing speed and accuracy are essential. You should be highly comfortable navigating Microsoft Excel (data entry, basic formulas, and formatting).
- Communication ace: Previous experience managing multi-line phone systems and the ability to route calls efficiently while maintaining a friendly tone.
- The "x-factor": A naturally upbeat, "can-do" personality. You should be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and stays calm under pressure.
- Detail-oriented: A sharp eye for detail, especially when researching and inputting financial data.
