The Plasma Operator will operate plasma cutting machines to produce metal or aluminum products that meet high quality standards.

The ideal Plasma Operator has multiple years of previous experience as a Plasma Operator, understands manufacturing processes and has solid experience using tools such as calipers and micrometers. The Plasma Operator position is a full-time, temp to hire position in Sacramento, CA.Plasma Operator Job Responsibilities:Set up Machines For Production, Including Programming to Ensuring All Steps Are Met For AccuracyRun Test Sample & Measure Using Calipers & Micrometers Before a Full Production RunLoad & Unload Raw Materials (Steel or Aluminum), Verifying Final Product Meets Quality StandardsFollow Blueprints & or Drawings to Perform Precise Measurements & CutsAdjust Settings & Verify All Measurements Are Accurate to Troubleshoot Machine IssuesFollow Daily Routine Maintenance Checklist by Cleaning, Organizing, & Ensuring Machines Are Functioning as ExpectedReport Any Issues to SupervisorFollow All Safety & PPE RequirementsPlasma Operator Job Requirements & Working Conditions:High School Diploma or Equivalent Required2+ Years of Plasma Operator/Metal Fabrication ExperienceCNC Programming Experience PreferredMust be Able to Read Blueprints & or DrawingsMust be Familiar With Using Tools to Perform Daily Work Including Micrometers & CalipersExcellent Problem Solving & Organizational Skills RequiredMust be Able to Lift up to 50lbsDemonstrates Excellent Communication & Time Management SkillsPrideStaff Hiring Requirements:Must be 18+ Years OldMust be Willing to Submit to a Pre-Employment Background CheckMust be Willing to Submit to a Drug ScreenMust be Able to Provide Proof of Eligibility to Work in The U.S.Enhance your career with a full-time job, with a great company, competitive wages, and let PrideStaff support you in your future employment endeavors.
