Senior Container Platform Engineer

Salary: $102,000 - 142,000 per year Requirements:

• We need at least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role, with or without direct reports.
• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, plus at least 8 years of experience in an IT operations environment.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
• We are looking for technical experience in distributed technologies, systems development, and/or networking.

• We provide expert technical guidance on IT infrastructure planning, engineering, and architecture for assigned systems.
• We define the technical direction for infrastructure solutions and advise project teams throughout the system development lifecycle.
• We lead or support business-specific initiatives by planning work, coordinating resources, meeting deadlines, and resolving complex issues.
• We partner with cross-functional IT and business teams to troubleshoot complex systems and make informed technical decisions.
• We translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into technical specifications for integrated and sustainable infrastructure designs.
• We ensure system designs align with our architecture standards and support flexible, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• We document and maintain standards, guidelines, processes, and procedures for introducing and operating services.
• We mentor other technical team members and review technical documentation for complex solutions.
• We evaluate IT trends, benchmark technologies, and recommend resources needed to maintain service levels and support new demand.
