Program Manager III - Raw Materials (GMP)

Program Manager III overseeing GMP laboratory programs at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Middleton, Wisconsin facility. This fully remote role manages client relationships, project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional coordination to deliver laboratory services and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and facilitate routine meetings between clients, business development, and project teams
• Monitor program status, timelines, budgets, and coordinate complex stability launches and FTE project setup
• Establish project trackers, evaluate and escalate risks, and ensure deliverables meet customer expectations
• Develop forecasts and projections for large programs, manage utilization targets, and own contract renewals
• Provide training and support to junior program managers while driving consistency in project management processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent academic/vocational qualification
• 7+ years relevant experience in project management or equivalent education and training combination
• Project management experience in GMP environment strongly preferred
• Strong science and/or business acumen
• Proven client relationship management and negotiation skills
• Superior organizational, planning, and analytical abilities
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-level team environments
