As our Industrial Reliability Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the person everyone counts on to keep equipment safe, stable, and running at peak efficiency. Your day starts with a review of preventive maintenance schedules, a walk-through of the lines, and quick huddles with production to prioritize what will have the biggest impact on uptime.
A day in the life- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing assets to avoid unplanned downtime.
- Inspect machinery for wear, damage, misalignment, and early signs of failure.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues.
- Replace components including bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, seals, pumps, valves, and hoses.
- Lubricate equipment and complete routine care to extend service life.
- Close out maintenance work orders with accurate notes, parts used, and time spent.
- Assist with equipment installations, plant improvement projects, and urgent/emergency repairs.
- Collaborate with production and the maintenance team to reduce downtime and boost reliability.
- Champion safety—always follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and site safety procedures.
- Hands-on preventive maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Proven mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting instincts.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting capability.
- Ability to read and apply manuals, diagrams, and work orders.
- Skilled use of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic instruments—safely and confidently.
