Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Nebraska license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >55 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Kearney Regional Medical Center.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Uses Epic. Ratios 1:6 max. Day shift M-F is 1:5.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Up to 2 extra shifts per 6 weeks. Some holidays needed.

Special Requests: Holiday requirements are usually applicable May-Sept and Nov-Jan. Cannot ask for more than 1 holiday off during contract.

Floating Requirements: First to float to PCU for an MSU assignment unless telemetry trained.

14 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 01/01/2027, 05/31/2027, 07/04/2027, 09/06/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
