Manager, Strategic Sourcing Category Management

Our client is looking to add several Managers of Strategic Category Management to join their enterprise sourcing team. In this role, you will utilize category‑specific expertise to work with business stakeholders to determine category strategy. The ideal candidate will have strategic sourcing, category management and executive stakeholder management expertise, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Manager, Strategic Sourcing Category Management Location: Cincinnati, OH (hybrid minimum 3 days per week) Pay Range: $120,000-125,000 base plus bonus & stock options What’s the Job? Defining and reviewing procurement strategy and project pipeline Coordinate sourcing activities and manage analysts to achieve category goals Negotiate and execute highly complex and visible contracts with suppliers Lead business relationships with suppliers, foster long‑term involvement and create value Develop, deepen and maintain trusted and collaborative relationships with business partners to ensure the organization is seen as a valued partner and is involved in business decisions What’s Needed? Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, CPG, or related disciplines 5+ years’ experience within the pertinent category Ability to build impactful relationships with internal clients, key influencers to effectively execute the work Advanced oral and written communication skills to formulate strategies in a complex business environment #J-18808-Ljbffr ManpowerGroup Global, Inc.
