Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in our outpatient office, engaging directly with patients in a supportive and dynamic setting. Our facility emphasizes a team-based approach, ensuring that you will collaborate regularly with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to offer comprehensive care. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, designed to facilitate a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions, recognizing and articulating the objectives and requirements specific to each individual.
• Maintain an efficient patient load, providing individualized care for one patient per hour to ensure quality attention and treatment.
• Design and deliver cost-effective therapies aimed at enhancing clients' range of motion and mobility, while minimizing reliance on medications and promoting non-invasive alternatives.
• Formulate comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, adjusting approaches as necessary based on patient progression.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of each patient, addressing their unique circumstances and lifestyle.
• Monitor patient outcomes, documenting services provided accurately and maintaining effective communication regarding progress with patients and their families.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize functionality and foster a healthy lifestyle.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to share insights and strategies that enhance patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal disorders. You will engage with clients ranging from young athletes to elderly patients, each requiring unique rehabilitation approaches. The diversity in our patient population allows for enriching experiences as you adapt treatments to suit a wide array of needs.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida with no record of disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to efficiently manage patient data and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A strong background in leveraging evidence-based practices in treatment and rehabilitation.
• Experience in creating specialized fitness and wellness regimens that promote long-term patient health.

Compensation and Benefits
