Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, which include a comprehensive history review, specific physical assessments, and the creation of individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, fostering active involvement in goal-setting and rehabilitation processes.
• Implement treatment protocols with a focus on evidence-based practice, adapting approaches as necessary to fit the unique needs and conditions of each patient.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and consult on modifications to treatment plans when necessary, ensuring comprehensive and holistic patient support.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation of all patient interactions, including detailed initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, and discharge summaries, to maintain clear and effective communication among the care team.
• Manage your schedule effectively, maintaining productivity while ensuring that each patient receives the attention and care they need during therapy sessions.
• Participate in community initiatives and marketing activities to promote the clinic's services and enhance community access to care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, seeking out continuing education opportunities to further enhance your skills and competency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient clinic primarily serves a diverse population of patients requiring rehabilitation for a variety of conditions, including post-surgery rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and neurological disorders. As a Physical Therapist, your role will be pivotal in helping patients regain mobility, improve strength, and achieve their personal health goals through customized therapy programs. You will work closely with individuals of all ages, ensuring a patient-centered approach that focuses on their specific needs and desired outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist, in compliance with Florida regulations.
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Compensation and Benefits
