Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their individual goals, needs, and any physical limitations that may affect their recovery.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic interventions, tailored to each patient's specific orthopedic conditions.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour to provide comprehensive and focused care.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols to enhance mobility and facilitate healing.
• Incorporate patient education strategies that promote understanding of their conditions and the importance of adherence to prescribed therapies.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and specialists, to ensure cohesive patient management.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment progress meticulously within our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly and adjust care plans as necessary to optimize patient recovery.
• Encourage patients to adopt a healthier lifestyle, focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay ahead of advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals covered by private medical insurance, focusing on orthopedic conditions. Patients range from those recovering from sports injuries to individuals facing chronic pain issues. As their physical therapist, you'll play a vital role in helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic physical therapy practices and methodologies.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage broad patient needs within a home care setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with patients and team members.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a focus on documentation and patient care management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, with a history of success in patient rehabilitation.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems, especially WebPT, to streamline documentation and patient management.
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices and research in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 - 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
