Work Environment

This role will be performed in an onsite setting, specifically focusing on home care services in Lakeland, Florida. Our therapists will typically visit patients in their residences, which allows for a more comfortable and personalized rehabilitation environment. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours ranging between 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM. As part of a supportive team, physical therapists will have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals to ensure robust patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient assessments to develop effective, individualized treatment plans that address mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
• Guide and assist patients through active and passive exercise regimens, implementing muscle re-education strategies, and engaging in functional training.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, emphasizing importance of adherence to therapeutic exercises and home care guidelines.
• Utilize various treatment techniques, including massage, stretching, and therapeutic modalities to facilitate recovery.
• Document patient progress and collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care management.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation to incorporate evidence-based practices into treatment.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
