Work Environment

The successful candidate will operate primarily in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in the heart of Lakeland, known for its supportive and collaborative atmosphere. Our clinic is equipped with the latest therapeutic devices and technologies that enable us to implement evidence-based treatment plans effectively. You will benefit from a work-life balance with a typical schedule from Monday to Friday, with shifts totaling 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving their specific recovery goals.
• Administer a wide range of therapies and rehabilitation services, ensuring adherence to established protocols and the physician's plan of care.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, adapting treatment techniques and goals based on evolving patient needs.
• Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, equipping them with knowledge about techniques and practices to enhance recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate treatment outcomes and improve organizational practices.
• Deliver exemplary customer service, creating a welcoming environment for all patients and their families.
• Achieve utilization goals as set by the management while maintaining high-quality standards in patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse patient demographic, including orthopedic, pediatric, neurological, and sports medicine patients. You will have the opportunity to implement tailored therapeutic interventions that nurture not only physical rehabilitation but also emotional and psychological support. Building rapport with patients is crucial, as fostering strong relationships enables better outcomes and promotes a community-oriented approach to health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills complemented by proficiency in electronic health record systems and word processing software.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and establish rapport with patients.
• Commitment to continuing education and professional development within the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred, however, candidates with a Bachelor's degree are encouraged to apply.
• A minimum of two years of practical experience in a diverse clinical setting is required.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to base compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
